Xavier
Living in the underbelly of an ancient kingdom, an orphan band of children slowly uncover secrets that will change their lives forever.
Xavier was always surrounded by many friends. Reuben, Christopher, Trish, and his younger sister Laurie were just a few of the orphans who lived in the underbelly of the kingdom’s drainage system. Endearingly called “The Gray”, many children ate, slept, and lived in these underground systems, coming to the surface in small groups to play or collect food and supplies. Outcasts of society, they were ever careful of averting prying eyes.
The king’s strong distaste for this orphan band of youngsters was well known. Evading guards and disdainful eyes were just part of everyday life. However, something strange is afoot. The king is becoming bolder. His guards are on high alert. As events are put into action, highly kept secrets begin to unravel, changing the lives of these orphans forever.

Even as a kid, my head was always in the clouds. I loved going into the woods to explore. I’d pretend trees were giant dinosaurs, we’d have epic imaginary battles with pirates from our tree fort, and engage in lightsaber duels with old cornstalks from the farm behind us.
